      ECDA Early Childhood Conference 2018

      “Nurturing Young Minds: Building Strong Foundations” is the theme of The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) Early Childhood Conference this year.

      The conference for Early Childhood (EC) educators will be held on 5 & 6 October (Friday & Saturday). Anchoring the keynote presentations are Dr Gigi Luk, Associate Professor of Education, Harvard Graduate School of Education and Ms Goh Ai Yat, Consultant of SBF Group, Visual Thinking Trainer.

      EC educators will come together to explore the latest research on brain and holistic development and visual strategies to optimalise young children’s potential.

      Conference workshop sessions will also address designing and planning quality experiences and environments, which will include curriculum and pedagogical practices, partnerships and professional development, to support young children’s learning, development and wellbeing.

      2. Register for the Central Stage Programmes
      Treat your family to an exciting range of fun-filled performances and interactive programmes at the Central Stage. Choose from family-friendly activities such as parent-child Kpop workshop or enjoy a musical adaptation of “The Big Bad Wolf”!

      The Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) serves as the regulatory and developmental authority for the early childhood sector in Singapore, overseeing key aspects of children’s development below the age of seven, across both kindergartens and child care centres.
      ECDA is an autonomous agency jointly overseen by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), and is hosted under the Ministry of Social and Family Development.
      ECDA was officially launched on 1 April 2013.
