Slowing Down Into Stillness: A Restorative Yoga Workshop with Adeline Tien

An Invitation to Slow Down into Stillness How do we slow down in a world that is moving so fast? How does moving slower and doing less benefit us?  Join us for this 2-hour pop-up Restorative Yoga workshop by Adeline Tien. Restorative Yoga is a practice of slowing down, in supported yoga poses. It emphasises on calming the nervous system and the art of physical relaxation, which help to reduce fatigue, anxiety and stress, as well as, promoting overall well-being. Whether you are curious about Restorative Yoga for rest and relaxation or for its healing, this workshop will offer some insights that are not often found and felt, in quicker-paced yoga classes. Learn techniques that can be integrated into the busiest of schedules, even for 5-10 minutes a day. All restorative poses are done seated or lying down and with the support of props. Visualisations, aromatherapy, physical touch and music will be incorporated. The sequence will end with a short yoga nidra meditation. Great for all levels especially those looking for nourishment and self-care. Profile: Adeline Tien (E-RYT 500, YACEP), has been teaching Restorative Yoga in Singapore since 2008.
