      Do you suffer from back pain? Are you struggling to stay active with your pain? Join us for Aqua Yoga! Aqua Yoga is low-impact, gentle but fun form of yoga that many bodies can enjoy, especially if you suffer from back pain or spinal mobility issues.In the water, your spine and joints are supported allowing free movement while also acting as resistance to help strengthen muscles. Yoga in the water challenges balance and illuminates the quality of breath - Reduce tension & alleviate pain - Help to build strength, improve flexibility & stability in your back & spine- Establish mindfulness, connecting with your thoughts, feelings, sensations PROGRAM DETAILS- 4 session guided aqua yoga program that will help to increase mobility, build strength release tension, reduce back pain and restore calm. Each session will build on the previous session. At the end of the program you will be able to practise a basic short sequence on your own. No swimming experience/knowledge is required.  - This will be an adapted aqua-vinyasa yoga practice. Class will include centering, guided spine-centred aqua asana (yoga posture) practice and mediation.  - Class size will be kept small (8 practitioners maxmimum) to allow for greater attention per practitioner and hands-on adjustments on aligment.  Please come dressed in swimming attire. In event of wet weather, classes may be rescheduled. DATE/TIME- Sundays 5, 12, 19, 26 Jan 5-6pm @ Bishan swimming complex, training pool. Can't make it during weekends? Join us on Wednesday  or Email us to request a class at your preferred time FEE: $20 for a single drop-in class ($20/class) $60 for a full program ($15/class) YOGA WITH WENLIN The session will be led by Yoga Alliance certified instructor Wenlin Tan. Originally from Singapore, Wenlin has been a student of movement since she was little, starting with dance, martial arts (Kendo) and later Contact Improvisation, Yoga and Thai Massage. Teaching since 2016, certified by Yoga Alliance and CPR trained, Wenlin is trained to teach various styles including:Vinyasa flow, Hot flow, Yin, Restorative, Massage, Chair Yoga, Kid’s Yoga. She primarily teaches at YogaUnion, Turin’s leading Yoga studio, and leads workshops & masterclasses in Asia & Europe. Recently she has taught at Brighton Yoga Festival, UK & Obonjan island private Resort, Croatia.
