Monthly Grand Cru Tasting: White Burgundy

Do not miss this rare event of indulgence! We’ve carefully selected a line-up of extraordinary White Burgundy wines! No other event in Singapore has yet offered this kind of vintage tasting opportunity for both aspiring enthusiasts and seasoned collectors. A must-attend event for anyone serious and wants to learn more about Burgundy wines, and we can’t wait to raise a glass with you there.   WHITE BURGUNDY GRAND CRU TASTING Joseph Drouhin Marquis De Laguiche Montrachet Grand Cru 2006 ($1,205) Domaine Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelle 2010 ($634) Fontaine Gagnard Criots Batard Montrachet Grand Cru 2009 ($420) Henri Boillot Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Clos De La Mouchere 2014 ($280) Verget Chablis Grand Cru ‘Bougros’ Vieilles Vignes 2009 ($139) Aegerter Genevieve Meursault 1er Cru 2010 ($129) Market value of these wines are worth $2800+ but taste them at a fraction of the price! Each person will be given a 30ml pour from each bottle.   5 Reasons Why You Can’t Miss This!   1) Marquis de Laguiche Montrachet is the jewel in the crown of Joseph Drouhin’s portfolio. The plot has been in the hands of the Laguiche family since 1363 while the Drouhin family has exclusive control of cultivation and vinification since 1947.   2) Wine with Bok rated the Leflaive Puligny Montrachet 1er Cru Les Pucelles 2009 as the best and most balanced Leflaive Pucelles he ever made. He deemed it as almost a grand cru level wine. Let’s see how the 2010 vintage performs and if it can be at the same level or better than the 2009!   3) Criots Batard Montrachet is the smallest white Burgundy grand cru and Fontaine Gagnard owns the largest parcels at .33 hectares and only produces about 100 cases a vintage! Production is so small that you cannot find a lot of bottles of these.   4) Clos de la Mouchere is a monopole plot owned by Henri Boillot, which means only they make wines from this plot. This is one of the best 1er cru plots you can find anywhere, and at a very reasonable price!   5) Aegerter and Verget are two of the most value for money wines that you can find anywhere. They both produce quality Burgundy wines at prices that you can’t even believe is possible for a 1er cru or grand cru level! Robert Parker once told Jean-Marie Guffens, owner of Verget, that he was one of the 3 best white winemakers in the world!       NO WINE EVENT IN SINGAPORE WILL YOU GET TO TASTE THESE FINE WINES AT THESE PRICES!     Early Bird Price: SGD $159 SGD$139 Whether you are a novice or expert wine lover, it would be a fun and educational experience for all.Venue will be located at Fine Wines SG Tasting Room: 114 Lavender St #02-60 CT Hub 2 Date: 25 May 2019 (Sat) Time: 2pm – 4pm Duration: 2 hrs   Terms & Conditions – Prepayment is required to reserve your slot.– No refunds for no show.– Refunds will be made if event is cancelled.– Voucher is personal and non transferable.– Voucher is limited to purchase of wines.
